Each year, the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute chooses the projects from the previous year that represent the best the precast concrete industry has to offer. A panel of experts that includes precast concrete producers, engineers, and architects judges all the submissions. Each submission is scored on different categories include aesthetic, structural and use versatility; site, energy and operational efficiency; risk reduction; and resiliency.

Glenstone Museum “The Pavilions”

FIU Student Academic Center

This 75,000 SF project included a precast concrete facade with extremely angled fin panels to simulate “gills” whiles remaining hurricane resistant.
University of Mississippi North Parking Structure

With the use of 329 prices of architectural precast and 1028 structural precast components, this seven-story parking garage was completed in 31/2 month.
Cook’s Children’s Medical Center - South Tower

This project included over 75,000 SF of architectural precast concrete composed of 667 individual panels to provide resistance to moisture for the facility.
Museum of Fine Arts - Glassell School of Art

Included 188 unique hollow-core panels which were poured off-site and allowed erection in less than one week.
Interstate 15 Brighman Road Bridge

Forterra Structural Precast
Included the rapid construction of a 416 foot long bridge over an environmentally sensitive river with 42 precast girders and 450 precast deck panels.
