PCI is in constant continuous improvement, which is apparent in workforce development. The institute is focused on helping PCI members properly train new plant-floor employees by crew type and by product line, establishing baseline industry training for the precast/prestressed concrete workforce.

With the help of industry corporate trainers, PCI has developed training modules for various product lines. Each product line has a slate of training for set up crews, pour crews, stripping crews, finishing crews, and yarding crews. Together all of the crew trainings make up the production line training for each product. PCI producer members have access to these materials free of charge.
